“Will they make history... or fake it?”

Apollo 11 is months from launch when Kelly Jones (Scarlett Johansson), a marketing specialist, is brought in to repair NASA's public image. She runs straight into Cole Davis (Channing Tatum), the launch director, who has enough trouble getting a man to the moon without her. Then the White House asks her to stage a fake landing as a backup, and Greg Berlanti keeps the whole thing light on its feet, with the glossy warmth of a sixties studio romance.
