“In every man's life, there is a turning point”

Jay Austin (Alex Kendrick) sells used cars with a wide smile and quick promises, and the customers who trust him tend to regret it. His wife Judy (Janet Lee Dapper) and son Todd (Richie Hunnewell) get the same hurried charm at home, until his lies and manipulations are exposed and he grows sick of the masks he wears. Kendrick, who also co-wrote and made it as the first film from Sherwood Pictures, tells it in a plain, church-basement-sized way.
