“Some people are made for each other.”

A stranger named Terrence (Aaron Pierre) turns up at the door of a remote farm with a proposal for the couple who live there, Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal). The land has been in Junior's family for generations, and the marriage on it is already worn thin. Garth Davis keeps the house close and quiet, Hen at the table, Junior at the window, the farmland outside going dark.
