“In the Super-Dreadnought of Musical Shows”

The US Navy fleet pulls into San Francisco, and two sailors on shore leave go looking for the women they left behind. Bake Baker (Fred Astaire) wants his old dancing partner Sherry Martin (Ginger Rogers) back, though he has a habit of losing her jobs for her. Mark Sandrich keeps the Irving Berlin numbers coming while Bake tries to talk his way back into her good graces.
