“There comes a time to cut loose”

Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) steps off the bus from Boston into Bomont, a small southern town where loud music and dancing are against the law. He is the new kid in a place that has decided what its teenagers may do, and Ariel Moore (Julianne Hough), the minister's daughter, is already drawing his attention. Craig Brewer shot in Georgia, and the film ends on Ren and the town's teenagers, boots planted, finally free to move.
