For Ever Mozart

(1996)Directed by Jean-Luc Godard85 minComedy, Drama, War

Jérôme (Frédéric Pierrot) and a small troupe of French actors want to stage a play in Sarajevo, and they set out to do it. Jean-Luc Godard follows them in episodes, as the trip leads to a prisoner-of-war camp and to letters and calls home asking friends and relations in France for help. Camille (Madeleine Assas) waits on the other end of those calls, the troupe's plan still unfinished.
