For Night Will Come

Philémon Feral (Mathias Legoût Hammond) arrives home from boarding school to his family's cramped suburban house, where his mother Laurence (Élodie Bouchez) moves through her days in a fog. The house itself seems to be decaying from within, its rooms growing colder and darker each night. Céline Rouzet builds dread in ordinary spaces until the familiar becomes unlivable, and Philémon understands that some houses don't just shelter families, they swallow them whole.
