“A film about disasters - both natural and man-made.”

A Swedish family arrives at a ski resort in the French Alps for a five-day holiday. Tomas (Johannes Bah Kuhnke) and Ebba (Lisa Loven Kongsli) share the trip with their two children, Vera and Harry, and their lunch on the terrace is interrupted by an avalanche. Ruben Östlund follows what that moment leaves between husband and wife, as each of them recalls it and neither will quite agree.
