Forces of Nature

“He went from the eye of the storm, into the arms of a hurricane.”

Ben (Ben Affleck) writes the praise that goes on book jackets for a living, and all he wants is to reach Savannah in time for his wedding. A seagull in the engine grounds his flight, and the hurricane cancels everything after it, so he hitches a ride in a Geo Metro with Sarah (Sandra Bullock), who is eccentric and has no plan. Bronwen Hughes sets the two of them side by side in that small car, and the drive south keeps pulling them into each other's business.
