(2021)Directed by Ayumu Watanabe97 minAnimation, Drama, Family, Comedy

Nobody in the harbor town can explain how Nikuko (Shinobu Otake), loud and unembarrassed, raised a daughter as quiet as Kikuko (Cocomi). Ayumu Watanabe watches the two of them through Kikuko's middle school days, where all she wants is to blend in and her mother keeps getting noticed. Then a shocking revelation from the past arrives, and Kikuko sits at the harbor's edge, watching her mother laugh.
