Four Daughters

Olfa Hamrouni is a Tunisian mother of four daughters, and two of the older girls are gone. Kaouther Ben Hania fills the empty places with professional actresses, including Nour Karoui and Ichraq Matar, who sit with Olfa and her younger daughters Eya and Tayssir and act out the family's past. Each reenactment puts the real family in the room with the stand-ins, and every one of them has to decide what they are willing to say aloud.
