Four Flies on Grey Velvet

“When the flies start to crawl, so will your flesh...”

Roberto Tobias (Michael Brandon), a drummer in a rock band, wants to know who has been following him and phoning him at night. When he finally corners the man, a struggle ends with Roberto stabbing him, and the next day an envelope of photographs shows him doing it. Dario Argento follows a man trying to clear himself while someone close to him is picked off, and the film keeps asking how well Roberto knows anyone around him, his wife Nina (Mimsy Farmer) included.
