Four Friends

“All the boys love Georgia... and Georgia loves all the boys!”

The story begins in 1961, in the senior year of a high school class where Danilo (Craig Wasson), an immigrant from Yugoslavia, is growing up fast in America. Arthur Penn follows him and his friends through the decade until 1969, from graduation into the counterculture, with Georgia (Jodi Thelen) pulling at him along the way. Steve Tesich drew the screenplay from his own life, and what stays is Danilo, a young man at the edge of the 1960s.
