Four Weddings and a Funeral

Charles (Hugh Grant) is a committed bachelor who wants nothing so much as to stay out of the way of his own life. Then Carrie (Andie MacDowell), an American, turns up at one of the weddings he has been dragged to, and he starts to wonder if he has found love. Mike Newell follows Charles and his friends, Fiona (Kristin Scott Thomas) among them, through five occasions, each one asking who gets to stay single.
