France

France de Meurs (Léa Seydoux) wants to be everywhere at once: on camera, at the front of the story, and at home with her husband Fred (Benjamin Biolay) and their son. Then a freak car accident knocks the famous television journalist out of the rhythm that holds it all together. Bruno Dumont stays close on Seydoux's face, holding each shot of it a beat longer than a comfortable viewer would.
