“The power is 7,000,000 volts--it's alive!”

Dr. Hadley (Robert Clarke) and his fellow balloonists only want to get home, but a storm leaves them and their dog stranded on a remote island. Jerry Warren brings them to Sheila Frankenstein, a descendant of the family, who has been taking in shipwrecked sailors for her experiments. Cameron Mitchell turns up among the castaways, and nobody on the island has any plans to let them leave.
