(1974)Directed by Jack Smight186 minDrama, Horror, Science Fiction
“He created the perfect man—then something went wrong.”

Victor Frankenstein (Leonard Whiting), a young anatomy student, sets out to find the secret of life and builds a living creature with the help of Dr. Polidori (James Mason) and Dr. Clervall (David McCallum). Jack Smight directs this reworking of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel from a script by Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy. The creature slips out of Victor's control, and Polidori has been steering the experiment toward ends of his own.
