Frankenstein Unbound

“Classic terror is now state-of-the-art shock.”

In 2031, a weapon sold as safe for mankind is tearing holes in time, and Dr. Joe Buchanan (John Hurt) is the scientist behind it. A slide throws him and his car back to Switzerland in 1817, where he meets Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Raúl Juliá) and Mary Godwin (Bridget Fonda). Corman, back in the director's chair after fifteen years, sets Joe's growing bond with Mary against a creation that already stalks the countryside.
