Frantz
Anna (Paula Beer) is a young German woman still mourning Frantz, the fiancé killed in France, and living with his parents, Doctor Hoffmeister (Ernst Stötzner) and Magda (Marie Gruber). Then she finds fresh flowers on his grave, left by Adrien (Pierre Niney), a Frenchman nobody in town knows, who says he knew Frantz. François Ozon shoots the postwar years mostly in black and white, letting color return in brief moments.
