“They look just like us.”

Seven-year-old Chloe (Lexy Kolker) has never been outside the house, and her father (Emile Hirsch) has told her why: the Abnormals out there are dangerous. Then Mr. Snowcone (Bruce Dern), a stranger with an ice cream truck, offers her a look at what is happening beyond the door. Directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein keep the story inside a family where she fears the world and her father in equal measure.
