Freaks Out

Rome in wartime is under Nazi occupation, and four circus performers with strange powers are stranded in it after their foster father, Israel (Giorgio Tirabassi), is taken. Gabriele Mainetti follows Fulvio (Claudio Santamaria), Matilde (Aurora Giovinazzo), Cencio (Pietro Castellitto) and Mario (Giancarlo Martini) as they try to find a place in a city that wants them gone. Each of them has been told his whole life that his powers are a deformity to hide.
