Freaky Tales

“In 1987, Oakland was hella freaky.”

In 1987 Oakland, teenage punks have to hold their turf against a crew of Nazi skinheads, and that is only the first of four stories. A rap duo goes after hip-hop immortality, Clint (Pedro Pascal) plays a weary henchman handed a chance at redemption, and NBA All-Star Sleepy Floyd (Jay Ellis) has a score to settle. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck link them all through The Town, where a mysterious force steers the underdogs toward each other.
