“Love long and party”

Mark (Eric McCormack) and Robert (Rafer Weigel) are two young Los Angeles filmmakers who have spent years trying to sell "Bradykillers," a slasher about a murderer hunting Marcia and Jan. Robert Meyer Burnett sets their big break against the day they finally meet William Shatner, the idol they have long pictured as a kind of fairy godfather. The real man is a middle-aged guy, not Captain Kirk, and what they love is no longer what is standing in front of them.
