“Retirement didn't suit him.”

Mason Pettits (John Cena) is a former special forces operative stuck in a desk job and a stalled marriage to Jenny (Alice Eve). He takes a freelance gig as security for Claire Wellington (Alison Brie), a journalist heading to interview President Juan Venegas (Juan Pablo Raba). A coup breaks out mid-interview, and the three of them have to get out through the jungle. Pierre Morel, who made Taken, stages the chase and gunfire for laughs as much as for speed.
