French Exit

Frances Price (Michelle Pfeiffer), a widowed Manhattan socialite, sells off the last of her possessions after the money from her husband's estate runs out. She leaves for a borrowed apartment in Paris with her son Malcolm (Lucas Hedges) and a cat named Small Frank, who may be her dead husband. Azazel Jacobs follows the three of them into that apartment, where Frances sits in her coat, and the cat watches from the window.
