French for Beginners

Hendrik (François Goeske) signs up for a school exchange to France for one reason, which is to win over Valerie (Paula Schramm), the girl he can't stop looking at. He has a loud host family, a stack of parties and trips, and barely any French to get through them. Christian Ditter follows him through the summer as Hendrik tries to turn a plan he never wanted into a summer that belongs to him.
