French Kiss

“Kate's stuck in a place where anything can happen with a guy who'll make sure that it does.”

Kate (Meg Ryan) boards a plane to Paris terrified of flying, desperate to win back her fiancé Charlie (Timothy Hutton) after he confesses to cheating on a business trip. A stolen diamond necklace ends up in her luggage, and Luc Teyssier (Kevin Kline), the thief who put it there, starts following her across France. Lawrence Kasdan keeps the pair squabbling in cramped trains and sunlit countryside, where the chase gives way to affection.
