French Twist

“A scorned wife. An outrageous affair. The perfect revenge.”

Loli (Victoria Abril) knows her husband Laurent (Alain Chabat) has been sleeping around, and her answer is odd: she lets a drifter named Marijo (Josiane Balasko) move into the house. Balasko, who also wrote and directed, sets the three of them in one household and lets the small domestic rituals pile up. Between Loli and Marijo there is a closeness neither one planned, and Laurent can see it from across the dinner table.
