“Geek vs Chic. Beauty vs Beast. Downtown vs Uptown. What happens when three sets of BFF's become enemies?”

Avalon Greene (Bella Thorne) and Halley Brandon (Zendaya) run a fashion blog together, and their friendship starts to strain. Daisy von Scherler Mayer weaves their story in with two others: a boy and his dog, and a tomboy who trades places with an uptown girl who looks just like her. Each pair drifts apart and finds its way back, and the film treats friendship as a thing you keep having to repair.
