Fritz the Cat

“We're not rated X for nothin', baby!”

Why does a college cat in 1960s New York walk away from his classes and head for San Francisco? Fritz (Skip Hinnant) is a glib, womanizing student fed up with campus routine and the pig cops who push him around. Ralph Bakshi adapts Robert Crumb's comic strip into a world where every animal is a type, and where a fraud's talk about revolution gets mistaken for the real thing.
