From a Whisper to a Scream

“Welcome to Oldfield. Stop in for a night of pure terror.”

In the town of Oldfield, a reporter sits down with Julian White (Vincent Price), the uncle of an executed murderess, who has four local stories to tell. One follows an old man courting a younger woman past the grave, and another follows a glass-eating carny who goes looking for love outside the sideshow. Jeff Burr strings the tales together, and in each of them a person's wanting gets treated as the most dangerous thing in town.
