From Afar

Armando (Alfredo Castro), a man of fifty in Caracas, follows young men through the city and pays them to keep him company. One day he approaches Elder (Luis Silva), a seventeen-year-old who leads a criminal gang, and the meeting pulls both of them somewhere neither expected. In his first feature, Lorenzo Vigas holds the camera at a distance and lets the two men's faces stay hard to read.
