Front of the Class

“24 schools turned him down, 1 gave him a chance… The unforgettable story of a teacher determined to make a difference.”

Brad Cohen (James Wolk) has Tourette's syndrome, and all he has ever wanted is to stand at the front of a classroom as the teacher he never had. Peter Werner follows him from childhood, when Young Brad (Dominic Scott Kay) is met with criticism and discrimination, into the job hunt of an adult whom school after school turns away. Through it all, his father Norman (Treat Williams) stays in the picture, and the strain between the two of them goes unsettled for years.
