Kyoko (Miyuki Sawashiro) is a girl who has stopped believing in anything and lives a desolate life, drifting through her days with a bad crowd. Then Katsuya (Yoshimasa Hosoya), a rude, blunt educational trainee, comes into her school, and she finds herself slowly drawn to him. Yoshihide Ibata follows her story, which also reaches forward to her daughter Tohru (Manaka Iwami), and Kyoko is left with a love she never thought she could have.
