(1997)Directed by Ringo Lam Ling-tung99 minAction, Crime, Thriller

Inspector Pao (Lau Ching-wan) is a Hong Kong cop who can't leave a case alone, and the one he has now won't let go of him either. A corpse and a stash of bomb chemicals lead him to Mak Kwan (Francis Ng Chun-yu), a suspect Pao believes is working toward the Jockey Club's $230 million. Ringo Lam sets it in the weeks before the 1997 handover, when the whole city is waiting for a deadline.
