Funky Forest: The First Contact

Guitar Brother, a young man with a guitar and a restless older sibling, is trying to get through his days alongside the pair's portly Caucasian brother. Ishimine and Miki, working with Katsuhito Ishii, string together short storylines that overlap, drift apart, and rarely stop to explain themselves. Nobody here is in a hurry to make sense, and the film gives their small, odd habits room to be exactly what they are.
