(2022)Directed by Owen Kline87 min · RComedy, Drama

“The story of New Jersey's next great comic book artist and biggest dick.”

Robert (Daniel Zolghadri) is a teenage cartoonist who wants to draw the real thing, and he figures his comfortable suburban life is standing in the way. He leaves it behind for a rougher existence and a mentor named Wallace (Matthew Maher). Owen Kline shot it on grainy Super 16mm, and the film stays close to the crowded, unlovely rooms Robert ends up in.
