Fuori

Goliarda Sapienza (Valeria Golino) steals, in Rome in the 1980s, after the publishing world turns down The Art of Joy, the novel she spent ten years writing. Prison puts her among thieves, junkies, sex workers and revolutionaries, and Mario Martone follows her through a sweltering summer once she is out, still visiting the women she met inside, including Roberta (Matilda De Angelis). The friendship is what she has left, her name and her standing already gone.
