“It's closer than you think.”

Prince (Jeff Wahlberg) is a young boy in a wasteland, and his mother is dying. He sets out across the desert after a rumored cure, and the road brings him to Ash (Suki Waterhouse), a runaway robot. Bruce Thierry Cheung and James Franco build the film on the pair crossing the barren land together, a boy who needs her to get him there and a machine with no reason to stay.
