Robban (Joakim Schröder), Alexander (Sebastian Håkansson) and Kim (Niclas Wahlgren) have just finished compulsory school, and at sixteen they consider themselves grown-up. Staffan Hildebrand follows them through one summer holiday, where Robban falls into drugs, Alexander joins a rock band and then walks out, and Kim chases the girl he wants. Each of them is finding out how little being treated as an adult has to do with being ready for it.
