“Hell is real”

Roy Cady (Ben Foster) is a dying Texas hitman who walks out of a set-up in New Orleans with his own life still intact. In the same place he finds Rocky (Elle Fanning), a young woman his boss had taken, and he drags her along as he runs for Galveston. Mélanie Laurent keeps the two of them in one car, a man with little left and a girl with nowhere to go, each leaning on the other.
