“This is not a game.”

Max (Jason Bateman) and his wife Annie (Rachel McAdams) host a weekly game night for their friends, and they are very serious about winning. When Max's older brother Brooks (Kyle Chandler) sets up a murder mystery party, the kidnapping is supposed to be part of the game. Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein follow Max through one long night, as he chases a clue, a brother, and the chance to finally beat him.
