Gamera 2: Advent of Legion

“Who will be extinct, Japan, or Legion?”

In 1996 Japan, a meteor lands in the countryside, and hundreds of insect-like creatures called Legion crawl out of it. Colonel Yusuke Watarase (Toshiyuki Nagashima) leads a military response that cannot contain them, while Asagi Kusanagi (Ayako Fujitani) waits to see whether Gamera will come. Shusuke Kaneko stages the fighting in the open, with Shinji Higuchi's effects crew building the creatures and the city they tear through.
