Games of Love and Chance

Krimo (Osman Elkharraz) is a teenager in a Paris housing project who wants nothing to do with the school's staging of a Marivaux play. Then he notices Lydia (Sara Forestier), and he takes the lead role opposite her. Kechiche films the rehearsals as long, overlapping conversations among the kids, and Krimo, who first refused to say a line, finds himself speaking for someone else to say what he can't.
