Gandu

“The Loser”

Gandu (Anubrata Basu) is a nihilistic young rapper who wants out of a life where he has no money and his mother's lover pays the bills. He steals from that man, then spends what he took on drugs alongside Ricksha (Joyraj Bhattacharjee), a rickshaw puller who becomes his companion in the rampage. Qaushiq Mukherjee shoots the film in black and white, with music by the rock band Five Little Indians.
