Gangaajal

Tejpur, a district in Bihar, is known for its crime rate and for the dons Sadhu Yadav (Mohan Joshi) and Sunder Yadav (Yashpal Sharma). Superintendent Amit Kumar (Ajay Devgn) arrives to bring the numbers down, only to find the local police slow to answer a crime and the townspeople settling it themselves, pouring acid into the eyes of criminals. Prakash Jha, who also edited, builds the film from the daily mechanics of policing a town like this.
