Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema

“Welcome to the promised land.”

Lucky Kunene starts out as a petty criminal in South Africa who wants more than hijacked cars can pay him. He moves up from hijacking to bigger game, and then most of his gang is shot dead, leaving him to start over with whoever is left. Ralph Ziman writes and directs it at a run, keeping the camera close to the crew and the nights loud.
