“The only way to resurrect is to kill.”

Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) wants nothing more than to be left alone, until he and his friend Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) step onto the subway tracks to save a stranger. They wake in a closed room with a black sphere in the middle of it, which hands them weapons and sends them out to hunt aliens hiding on Earth. Shinsuke Sato keeps Kurono and Kato together through every mission, the one steady thing between two boys who are suddenly afraid of the same thing.
