Garden of Evil

“Takes you beyond the land of the Black Sand!”

Their ship has broken down on the Mexican coast, and Hooker (Gary Cooper), a former lawman, is stuck there with a gambler and a bounty hunter when Leah Fuller (Susan Hayward) offers them money to ride into Apache country. Her husband is trapped in a collapsed mine, and Henry Hathaway sends them across wide, sun-hammered terrain to reach him. Each man agrees for his own reasons, and none of them is doing it for her.
