“Watch Out! The Gargoyles Are Here”

Dr. Mercer Boley (Cornel Wilde) and his daughter Diana (Jennifer Salt) dig a strange skeleton out of the Arizona desert and haul it away for study. The colony of gargoyles living in the caverns nearby wants it back, and the whole town ends up under siege. Bill L. Norton shot it for CBS in 1972, and Stan Winston's first film makeup carries the creatures.
